my late father used to tell me, ppl in the old days ate this pulut for breakfast for the calories offered by the glutinous rice which they required for their heavily manual dependent works such as farming, rubber tapping etc.
in our modern life with blogging, computer ID, brainstorming, what will be the best reason to eat this?
"in our modern life with blogging, computer ID, brainstorming, what will be the best reason to eat this?" The answer for pulut - none. Eat raisins instead :)
But no matter how I look at pulut, I love the fact it is much satisfying when compared to a plate of rice. You can have it your way, sweet, sour, spicy, salty (ikan masin)... the taste is simply irresistible :)
If you eat that with durian... ummmm.. that's another adventure to be told ;)
Pipsguy, Not easily available in KL,but plenty in Tanah Rendah Sekebun Bunga. Niterider, The most I could eat durian is only two ulas,BUT with santan and pulut, panggil pun tak dengar;-)

My reason is just for the sheer joy of its taste!

Coming this Ramadhan, can we keep an eye on which location has some interesting pulut delicacies?
