When do you write your journal? In my case, I write whenever I feel like it-any where ,any time.

With hardcovers notebook,it provides the stable support to write my journal.Here is the photo of my son started writing his 18-month moleskine diary.I hope he enjoys using moleskine as much as I do.

Cyberview Lodge garden

While waiting for a friend to arrive at Cyberview Lodge,my attention caught this little hut in the garden in front of the hotel.I saw different tones of the green leaves depending on their locations from the direct sun light...they are more beautiful than what I managed to capture using my Lumix TZ2 camera.

By the way,have a good weekend to all my blog readers.

Dying leaves..

The recent spate of hot weather and lack of plant care had led to some of the flower plants in our garden to die..

I welcomed the rainfall yesterday in KL.However ,the heavy rainfall had also caused flooding along the some stretches along the highway.As the saying goes,what is good for the gander...

Being Digital

Nicholas Negroponte

Re-reading Nicholas Negroponte's "Being Digital".Published Feb,1995 and he wrote about socializing in digital neighbourhoods in 20 years time.

Fast forward to today,the 'digital neighbourhoods' written by Prof Negroponte is all true but in different names like myspace,friendster,yahoo groups,google groups etc and this Facebook.

I love reading this book again because I can immediately compared what the author was talking then is happening or not today..

Artwork in a moleskine

The photo shows my friend KA,a communication engineer by training but an artist at heart painting his moleskine.At our first moleskine gathering,he showed us how to paint.It looks so easy when he paints but when it is my turn,I know it is very difficult for someone like me who barely passed his art subject during his school days.

Inspired by KA talented artworks,I bought a cheap water colour set and started to paint last year.It went on for a few weeks but then the interest died off slowly...

Last weekend,my friend Nazley showed me a cool water colour set called Koi.The brush works like a fountain pen where water replaced the ink.With this new brush,I hope to get my hands dirty again this weekend.

When my kids are all grown up and most of the time are away from home,somehow I become a new kid in the house.Now,at least my wife can make some noises about her house floors or kitchen got dirty.

Good graphic signs can convey the message easily and it is universal-understood by everyone worldwide.

Koi water colour set -12 colours

something fishy..

Last Saturday,after meeting my bookcrossing friends and to bid good bye to Katie from UK,my friend Nazley went into our favourite stationery shop Cziplee next to BV11.There,I discovered another meaning of 'koi'- is a portable water colour set.The other photo is snapshot of real koi swiming in a pond at a hotel .By the way,my old water-colour set is gathering dust some where in the kitchen cabinet and I hope this new 'koi' that cost me about RM30 will motivate me to keep drawing using water colours.It is similar to notebook; we write sometimes because we like the notebook;-)
